The Location
Tucked between mountain and sea, between the Lihue business center and the Poipu beach resort, its location is both central and protected. Minutes from everything, yet lifetimes from anything like it.
Setting
While Kīpū offers seclusion, it is not remote. It sits between Līhuʻe and Poʻipū, two of Kaua‘i’s most essential and distinct communities.

TIP: When you open the map, look for the ‘Table of Contents’ button on the bottom left side. Click this button to expand the list of locations. From there, select any pin to view the saved perspective.
To the east, Līhuʻe connects you to daily needs—airport access, markets, healthcare, and schools. To the south, Poʻipū offers beaches, hospitality, and the island’s sunniest coast.
This balance of privacy and practicality makes Kīpū rare. You remain deeply connected to the land, while still within reach of the places that make life work.

Kīpū Falls
A bend in the Hule‘ia River widens, drops, and pools — forming Kīpū Falls, a freshwater cascade surrounded by forest. It’s part of the ranch, and part of its rhythm.

Wilcox Tunnel
Known locally as the Wilcox Tunnel, this passage opens with no fanfare, just a bend in the road and a hush in the trees. Tropical trees arch overhead, forming a canopy that filters light and sound, and marks a subtle threshold between open pasture and deep forest.

Former Private Airstrip – Haiku HI33
Within Kīpū, is Haiku Airstrip (HI33), a former active runway measuring 2400 ft. x 60 ft.

K.P.D. Shooting Range
Near the main gate, a small secured dirt road leads to the Kaua‘i Police Department’s training range. It is used exclusively for law enforcement training and remains restricted from public access.
